Check in and check out schedule?
You can check-in from 1 PM, but you can anticipate it for any reason. In case of anticipation, if the room is not ready, you can still leave your suitcases inside the building and proceed to check-in before the agreed time.
Check out takes place before 10.30AM. In case of departures in the late afternoon, we give to our guests the possibility to stay in the building (by the pool, under the gazebo or on the patio) and leave the suitcases in a special reserved area for as long as necessary. The only constraint is the obligation to vacate the rooms within the established time. If you check out very early in the morning, we will give you instructions on how to open the gate and where to leave the keys.
Should i always communicate my arrival time?
Yes, it is very important to communicate the estimated time of arrival because there is no 24/24 reception. Therefore, we recommend that you indicate this by email or text message at least 3/4 days before your arrival, preferably upon booking.
Is it possible to check in if my flight arrives after 10pm?
For arrivals after 10 pm, there is a special check-in procedure. Before arrival, the customer will receive a code that can open the safe lock located on the gate outside the building. The lock contains both the key to access Rosso di Sera and the map with the route to reach your room. The reception will be made the next morning after breakfast, to avoid disturbing the other guests.
When is breakfast served?
Breakfast is served daily from 8.30AM to 10AM.
If i flight out early in the morning, will breakfast be provided?
In case of departures before breakfast time, breakfast can be consumed in the room using the complimentary products in the minibar (juice and water) and coffee and tea dispensed from the machine. However, we ask you to give us an advance notice – at least the day before even if you decide to go for an excursion – so that you can also have some of the food that we normally serve in the morning (yogurt, packed croissants, fruit, biscuits).
Do you also serve gluten free and lactose free products?
We can gladly propose gluten free and lactose free products for breakfast if we are duly informed with advanced notice (possibly when booking).
Is breakfast sweet or also savory?
Our breakfast proposal includes both sweet and savory products. We offer cold cuts, cheese, bread, cereals, yogurt, honey, jams, Nutella, Sardinian dry biscuits, cake or croissants or muffins.
Do you have pets in the b&b?
Yes, we have a medium size dog, very sociable.
Are pets allowed?
For the way the B&B is structured, we cannot allow pets.
Can I choose a specific room when I make the reservation?
For logistical and organisational reasons it is not possible to choose one room rather than another. However, if the customer during the booking express a preference on accommodation, we will try to do our best to accommodate it.
Is there a place to cook?
In the B&B there is no kitchenette, so it is not possible to cook, however in the common rooms we provide a microwave to heat up fast food, as well as crockery, plates, glasses and cutlery useful in case you decide to eat a pizza or take-away food on the patio or by the pool.
There is a fridge available where to put some groceries?
Each room is equipped with a standard size minibar, suitable for a daily buy.
How far away are the beaches/city center/restaurants?
The city is 3.5 km away, the center can be reached in 7 minutes by car, the first beaches in about 8/10 minutes. Upon arrival, we provide a map of the city with all the information you need to spend your holiday in Alghero. Our strength is our proximity to the city in an extremely quiet area.
Is it advisable to have a mean of transport to reach the building?
Absolutely yes! Scooter or car is indifferent, but the area is not served by public transport so having a vehicle is essential. We also highly recommend it to reach and visit the natural beauties that surround the city. Alternatively, you can use bikes, preferably electric ones, keeping in mind that in case of bad weather your mobility could be compromised.
Do you rent bicycles?
Yes, we offer our guests traditional bicycles free of charge. In case you want to hire electric vehicles, you can ask us for help as we are in contact with several providers.
Which is the pool schedule?
The pool has no fixed schedule, we simply ask to use it without disturbing the other guests, especially between 2PM and 4PM and between 11PM and 8.30AM. The pool is lit up until midnight so it is possible to swim until late in the evening. A regulation detailing the rules of conduct is posted directly in the pool area.
Bed sheets & towels are included in the price? what is the change frequency?
Bed sheets and towels are included in the price and are changed every 3 days, while the beach towels once a week.
Can we book excursions directly at rosso di sera?
Throughout your stay, we can assist you to live your travel experience to the fullest, including the choice of the most interesting places to visit and excursions to do, depending also on the length of your stay in Alghero and your interests.
Is the structure suitable for children?
Rosso di Sera is suitable to accommodate children aged 13 and over.
